Trans|formator:in is winner of VCÖ Mobility Award 2026!

Win with the digital PRISMA planning tool

A major success for the transformation of public spaces: the pioneering research project Trans|formator:in has been honored with the prestigious Austrian VCÖ Mobility Award 2026 in the "Research and Scientific Studies" category. PRISMA solutions contributed to this achievement by handling the conceptual design and software development of the digital "Tactical Measures Toolkit."

The award mirrors the appreciation for a practical mobility transition! Trans|formator:in combines scientific methods with real-world practical tests and provides decision-makers with clear guidelines for redesigning streetscapes. The expert jury particularly commended the transdisciplinary approach and the project's direct applicability to towns and cities. Representatives of the consortium received the award from Mobility Minister Peter Hanke, VCÖ Managing Director Ulla Rasmussen, and ÖBB Board Member Othmar Frühauf.

The PRISMA contribution tho this project delivers decision support at the click of a mouse. Even the best strategy is only effective if it can be easily implemented. As part of the project, PRISMA solutions developed the digital core component for action planning: the “Tactical Measures Toolkit” (a decision support system), which is directly integrated into the project’s online toolbox navigator.
